The program I used to record the voice-overs was GarageBand on the Mac. This program is easy to use, which meant that I didn't waste any time trying to work out how to use it.
The first voice-over I recorded was Willow's, when her character, Amber, has emailed Nick's character, Jake, about wanting to help find his girlfriend, Emily. The process I used to record Willow's voice-over was simple; I opened the GarageBand program, as well as the document that Willow's script was on. I then pressed the record button and Willow read the script, which appears in the left hand side of the video below.
Once Willow had read the script, I then had to cut the audio, so that there were no pauses before or after the speech. I did this so that it would save me time when it came to putting the audio in my film. The video to show the process of creating the voiceover is below.
